Rapper, Remilekun Abdulkalid Safaru, aka Reminisce, has achieved quite a lot with his music career. He has a huge following and he is also a brand ambassador for some reputable companies. However, the Kako bi Chicken crooner is not entirely happy; he wishes he was a graduate. Speaking to Sunday Scoop about the music industry, he said, “For anybody who wants to make a career out of music, you have to be sure that you are skilled and that it’s something that you can do sustainably; if not, go to school. Either ways, it is important to go to school, whether you go into full-time music or not. The Lagos state police command today uncovered a shrine said to be used by members of the secret cult, Badoo in Ikorodu. The owner of the shrine, Alhaji Alaka Aboyomi, led the police team into the shrine located on a large expanse of land that is surrounded by thick bush. A very vicious fight broke out on Friday night on Coney Island in New York and it was caught on camera. The fight was so violent that police officers tried unsuccessfully to break it up without success until they eventually had to resort to dispersing the crowd with a pepper spray The horrifying footage shows a group of women fighting each other at about 11 p.m near Luna Park. Two police officers can be seen in the video trying to put an end to the violence but they were unable to stop them. A man can also be seen in the video standing over two women who were fighting while driving away anyone who tries to interfere. Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, has said that he will be visiting Kaduna and Lagos state as part of his tour of various states in the country. The reconstruction of the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway has completely come to a halt as Julius Berger has joined the Reynolds Construction Company Nigeria Limited, RCC the other construction company handling the second half of the road in suspending work until they are paid outstanding funds for work done. In case you missed it, RCC had halted work over a N8.94 billion debt. Minister of Power, Works and Housing, Babatunde Fashola, in a statement on Sunday, said that Julus Berger has also given notice of suspension of work on the site. The Nigeria Army has recovered 21 additional bodies in an operation to rescue oil exploration crew abducted by the Boko Haram insurgents in Borno. Brig. Gen. A security officer at a cash vault and transportation company in New Jersey was arrested for allegedly stealing $100,000 from the business on his first day of work. According to Fairfield police, 19-year-old Larry Brooks from Elizabeth, who worked for Garda, was identified as the suspect after the theft was captured by company surveillance cameras. Brooks was charged Thursday with theft for allegedly taking the cash Tuesday evening, authorities said.  Before police were called upon, the security team apparently recovered nearly $86,000 of the stolen money from a car parked in Elizabeth, N.J, where Brooks lives. Brooks had apparently been hired by Garda a day before the theft.
