There's a viral video on social media allegedly showing a middle aged man driving a Benz come out of his car, remove his clothes and ran mad for almost 30 minutes.. Eye witness then says he quickly covered his nakedness after about 30-minutes and was reportedly later taken away by his friends in Lekki, Lagos who had brought him some clothes to put on. Now social media is coming up with different stories from different angles about what may have led him to run mad. While some believe it was some sort of rituals, others think he was high on drugs or simply a sacrifce.

On Tuesday, September 26, 2017, the Lagos State Government will unveil a new iconic statue of the late sage and nationalist, Chief Obafemi Awolowo.  The imposing bust located on Obafemi Awolowo Way by the Lagos Television (Ltv) junction in Ikeja is a befitting replacement to the old Awolowo statue that was removed from the Allen Avenue round-about in Ikeja. Standing at 20 feet, the new Awo bust will be unveiled by Governor Akinwunmi Ambode alongside notable dignitaries across the State. Flamboyant Nigerian, Hushpuppi is confused as to why this photograph of him shopping in a Gucci store was deleted by Instagram. Its not clear if the post violates any of Instagram's community rules, but Hushpuppi has reposted the photo with the caption, 'the reason IG deleted this pic, I don't know, but there you go again'.

Nigerian musician, Sunny Melody robbed at gun point in America Juju Singer, Sunny Melody was robbed by 5 gun wielding boys who had their faces covered in the United States and immediately, the Police were contacted and the theft is currently being investigated by Prince George's County Division  in Hyattsville Maryland. Confirming the incident, Sunny Melody said he finished his performance from his show on September 22, 2017 in Maryland, USA and was on his way to his hotel in the company of his promoter. They stopped to make a call when some boys with guns attacked them. On sighting the boys, the show promoter dashed away but Sunny Melody was crossed and pinned down. They punched and hit him with their gun after which they emptied his pocket and went with the money he got from the show and his Passport.

Oba of Benin, Omo N’Oba Eheneden Erediauwa  Ewuare II and the people of Edo State  on Friday night, gave a thank you/ send-off ceremony in honour of the former Executive Governor of Edo State, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole for the good work he did during his 8 years in office. In attendance were Edo State Governor, Obaseki, Chief Ayirimi Emami, Sokoto State Governor Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, Kebbi State governor Atiku Bagudu, among others.  

China's official Xinhua News Agency says a magnitude-3.4  earthquake  has been detected in North Korea . The earthquake occurred about 50km from a nuclear test site just as previous quakes have occurred during weapons' tests. Chinese seismologists  said it was a "suspected explosion". But South Korea says that it could be a natural quake not caused by a nuclear test. North Korea carried out a massive nuclear test on September 3, 2017 which has been widely condemned at the UN. According to South Korea's meteorological agency, the latest quake was recorded at a depth of 0km in North Hamgyong province, home to the Punggye-ri nuclear site. It said it believed the quake was natural because the specific soundwaves generated by artificial earthquakes were not detected.

Nigerian singer,  Tekno  has reacted to the prophecy by  Christian numerologists  who claim that the world will come to an end today, September 23, 2017 as they believe a planet will collide with Earth.
