'Kidnappers have taken full control of Kaduna, Zamfara, Niger and Plateau states' - Senator Shehu Sanni

Senator Shehu Sani representing Kaduna Central in the red chambers of the National Assembly has raised an alarm that kidnappers and bandits have taken over communities in 4 Northern states; Kaduna, Niger, Zamfara and Plateau states.

In a facebook post on Saturday, Senator Sani called on President Buhari to protect lives and properties in the communities by allocating a special sum from the excess crude account to fight the menace. The senator urged the president to act fast and not allow the North West and North Central to become North East.

Read Senator Sani’s post below:
”Communities in Kaduna, Zamfara, Niger and Plateau states are under siege. Kidnappers and bandits have taken full control. I’m formally writing to the President to demand a surge to protect lives and properties. All measures taken so far failed to address the problem. If it will take allocating a special sum from the excess crude account to assist the states and security agencies including the military, the President must act.The FG must not wait for the North West and North Central to become North East before taken seriously."
