Suspected herdsmen kill six persons in fresh Benue attack
Few days after 20 persons were killed in an attack carried out by suspected herdsmen in Guma and Logo local government areas of the state between Monday and Tuesday this week, another attack carried out in the early hours of today, January 6th, by suspected herdsmen, has left no fewer than six persons dead. 
According to reports, the fresh attack took place at a settlement called Tse-Kimbir in Logo local government area of the state. A member of the community, Prince Cephas Hough, told the Nation that the herdsmen, armed with AK 47 rifles, stormed their homes very early in the morning. 
He said the assailants went from house to house and robbed the inhabitants of their valuables before shooting six people dead.
Those killed in the attack were identified as Kwaghve Baaki, Terhemen Kwaghve, Ioryue Tsehemba,Zahemen Tsavkuleve, Ahemba Shaku and a visitor who reportedly came from Nongov, in Guma local government area of the state.

Senior Special Assistant to President Buhari on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, today shared a story of how a senior government official went to the UK to meet with President Buhari to attend to some documents but he was turned back for undermining the office of the acting president, Yemi Osinbajo. Garba shared the story this in an interview with Channels TV when he spoke  “Let me tell you a story. I am aware that a senior official had gone to President Buhari in the UK with some documents for him to deal with and the president said: ‘no, I won’t.
